JiniSynth — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 August 2026

JiniSynth is a SoundFont synthesizer for Android, published by Luacua. This policy explains what the app does with data. It is short because the app does very little with data.

JiniSynth does not collect, transmit or share any personal information. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server that belongs to us. Nothing you do in the app is reported to anyone.

What stays on your device

Your set lists, sounds, levels, transpose settings, audio and MIDI preferences are written to a single file in the app's private storage on your phone (jinisynth.json). We cannot read it. It is removed when you uninstall the app.

Permissions, and why each one exists

No advertising, no analytics

The app contains no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting and no third-party tracking libraries of any kind.

Google Play

If you install JiniSynth from Google Play, or make a purchase in it, Google processes that transaction under Google's own privacy policy. We receive only the aggregate, anonymous sales and installation statistics that Google Play shows every developer. We never see your payment details.

Children

JiniSynth is a musical instrument intended for a general audience. It is not directed at children under 13, and it collects no data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top.
